Need For Speed

To design an exhibition space on the theme “Need for Speed” and to display items related to racing driver Jack Brabham. Under the rules that it had to be modular and made of flat interlocking pieces.

As a team of five we each had to come up with a concept for the exhibition, and then present our ideas to the rest of the team.

We decided to go with a design that was a combination of my idea and another of my team mates, shown circled above.

Our design incorporated interlocking panels to create curves.

We had to make a portion of our exhibition at 1:1 scale. We decided to make the F1 shaped seat as it was the most interactive part of our exhibition design.
